Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee, comprised of highly regarded educators, business leaders and others helps guide the Alliance. 

The Committee is headed by two chairpersons: Dr. Iman El Kaffass and Prof. Dr. Amr Salama.  Dr. Kaffass is former Associate Dean of Student Affairs at the American University of Cairo and Director of AUC's Leadership in Education and Development Program (LEAD).  Among her many leadership roles in Egypt's education reform sector, Dr. El-Kaffass has also been appointed by the Prime Minister to serve for 2 yeas among 14 members of the Board of the Egyptian Youth Council setting youth policies for Egypt. Dr. Salama serves as Counsellor at the American University of Cairo and is former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.  Dr. Salma has served in a number of other senior level capacities with Egypt's Ministry of Education.
